| 10 week "bump" - mostly just bloat! |
Weekly update!
How far along: 10 weeks
Maternity clothes: I bought a "belly band" from Target this week. By the end of the day, most of my pants are just a little too tight to be comfortable. I've been wearing a lot of leggings lately!
What I miss: Continue to miss not feeling sick and exhausted!
Exercise: I've been taking Jiggs on short half mile walks. I'm usually pretty winded by the time I get home. Also walking from the parking garage to the speech building. And four flights of stairs in the speech building. That's about the extent of my "workouts." I'm hoping in the next couple of weeks I'll start to feel up to trying a little bit more. Although it's been nice to just lay on the couch for months, I'm getting restless.
Cravings: They come and go. I ate a whole box of mac and cheese earlier this week. I had to have apple pie today, so headed up to AJ's since they sell slices of pie. I'm also loving cereal. I got kettle corn at the basketball game and have been pouring milk on that. Yum!
Aversions: Most meat. Vegetables. Anything that is actually probably good for me. I had to switch my fish oil pills because the strawberry smell and taste that covered the fish taste was making me sick and I couldn't even open the bottle without gagging.
Symptoms: Still nauseous and exhausted. My throwing up has decreased a lot, whether that's thanks to my meds or just getting closer to the second trimester. Also getting really bloated toward the end of the day.
Labor signs: None
Best moments of the week: Not throwing up! It's much easier to get excited about things when you're not constantly hanging out in the toilet.
