11 weeks

Another week down!  I guess that means 11 weeks are done, and I'm in week 12..I think.  I get kind of confused about the whole week thing!  To me, that means starting next week I should be moving toward the end of the first trimester and hopefully feeling better!  I was in Phoenix this weekend to celebrate our good friend Megan Lloyd's baby shower.  Her little guy Jack will be here in January!  Adam and I had a date night Friday and went out to a restaurant in our new neighborhood in Scottsdale.  We are LOVING the area and the house, and I can't wait for a month from now when I am up there permanently!  I was feeling great Friday night, and pretty good at Megan's shower Saturday, but got really tired toward the end.  I had to bow out of going out to dinner Saturday night and brunch on Sunday. :(  I threw up again this Sunday.  It seems like each new week brings a new day of throwing up, and then I'll hopefully be ok for the week.  It may be a subconscious reaction to having to come back down to Tucson!  ;)  Today I got to go to a mini spa party at the J.W. Marriot Desert Ridge with Jess, Laura, and Allyson.  One of my friends from college had some free tickets, so we got to enjoy a fun Sunday afternoon!  We got free chair massages, nail polish changes, and eyebrow threading (it wasn't nearly as painful as I thought it would be!).  The girls got to enjoy free champagne and Bailey's and coffee.  I settled for a slice of cheesecake.

Onto the weekly update!

11 week "bump."  Not so big today.  I know it's bloat, because it has varied from super noticeable to barely there.
How far along:  11 weeks
Maternity clothes:  I've been wearing the belly band with pants, and also using a hair tie to button my pants.  Pretty uncomfortable.  Wearing normal clothes still, but I am definitely getting a little bump (mostly bloat, but still a bump!).
What I miss:  Feeling normal!  I'm feeling better as the days go by, but then I'll have a day like today and feel like I'm back at the beginning.
Exercise:  Still haven't gotten back to working out.  I've been doing a little bit of stretching at night since my back and hips have been hurting, and that seems to be helping.  I can tell I need to work out, but it's so hard when I'm still so constantly exhausted.
Cravings:  They change day to day and hour to hour.  I'm still craving cereal with really cold milk.  I really wanted Chick Fil-A on my drive back from Phoenix today, then remembered it's Sunday, and they aren't open on Sundays.  So now it's all I can think about, of course.
Aversions:  Vegetables.  A lot of things I ate when I was REALLY sick (i.e. mac and cheese) :(.
Symptoms:  Still nauseous quite a bit.  Still super exhausted.  Having trouble falling asleep at night, and then waking up 2-3 times a night to go to the bathroom.
Labor signs:  None
Best moments of the week: I'd say enjoying going out with my friends.  It's been so hard to get up and out of the house the past couple months, and to actually be with my friends and feel ok was great.
